Zane Wells is a REALTOR® with The Wells Group in Durango, Colorado, specializing in residential, land, ranch, and commercial real estate throughout Southwest Colorado, including Durango, Bayfield, Ignacio, and the greater La Plata County area. Since joining The Wells Group in 2015, he has built a reputation for market knowledge, strong negotiation, and a straightforward, client-focused approach. In 2023, Zane became part of the firm’s ownership and leadership team, helping guide the company’s continued growth while actively serving clients.

Zane began his real estate career in Denver with Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors, where he developed a foundation in commercial real estate and market analysis. He holds a B.A. in Finance and Economics from Fort Lewis College, where he was a collegiate soccer player, and a Master of Science in Project Management from University College Dublin. This background provides clients with a well-rounded perspective on both the financial and strategic aspects of real estate.

Deeply connected to the Durango community, Zane serves on the Fort Lewis College School of Business Advisory Board and the Durango 9R School District Finance Advisory Committee. His past involvement includes seven years on the Durango Education Foundation Board, as well as roles with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Fort Lewis College athletics, and Search and Rescue.

Zane lives in Durango with his wife, Vikki, their two children, and their dog. He enjoys the Southwest Colorado lifestyle and brings that same appreciation for the region into helping clients find and invest in property.
